ZigBee Semiconductor Products

Ember's Semiconductor products enable developers to choose between the EM300 Series SoCs, the world's first ARM Cortex-M3 based SoCs, the EM250, a highly-integrated and cost-optimized System-on-Chip, and the EM260, a ZigBee network co-processor that can be paired with almost any microcontroller. The Ember chip range minimizes external components and provides multiple RF connection options for easy use with or without external PAs.

EM300 Series

SoC
EM351 & EM357 - 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 based ZigBee system-on-chips combine a 2.4 GHz 802.15.4 radio with 128 KB/192KB Flash, 12 KB RAM and EmberZNet  PRO stack supporting the ZigBee PRO Feature Set and deliver outstanding performance with a total Link Budget up to 110 dB and sleep current as low as 400nA.

NCP
Ember’s latest and best performing ZigBee SoCs (above) can now also be used as a network co-processor, using Ember’s EZSP protocol, supported by EmberZNet PRO 4.3.0 and later. This is designed to make migration from EM260 NCP easy, and in addition, on EM357 the additional flash is used to provide more token space, enabling support for 50 link keys and bindings, necessary for trust center functionality in large ZigBee Smart Energy networks.

EM250 SoC EM260 NCP
True ZigBee system-on-chip, combining a 16-bit micoprocessor, Flash, RAM, a 2.4GHz 802.15.4 radio, and numerous debugging and development features. Application development is supported by a C-language development environment that includes the EmberZNet stack.
  The world's first ZigBee network co-processor, the EM260 is a 2.4GHz 802.15.4 radio with a Flash-based
processor on-chip. The EM260 runs the EmberZNet PRO ZigBee stack, exposing the top-level API over an SPI/UART-based interface, allowing the developer to write their application in any microprocessor they choose.
